Exclusive unpublished photographs of one of first important Pacific Coast airplane meet, Tanforan field, San Francisco, January 1911, with Lincoln Beachy and other pilots flying. At this meet were brought out many queer planes. The majority made only short flights even if they managed to get off ground; many were wrecked. [Handwritten:] Just 21 years ago. 12 each 6x8. 14 6x8.
