Text from nitrate negative sleeve: 2927, Adelbert Bartlett, 535 15th Street, Santa Monica, Calif. 1928. Exclusive Negat[ives] Culver City, Cal., 4/19/28. Dancers ready for starting gu[n.] World's endurance dancing championship starting 5 pm on Washington boulevard in the motion picture studio center. 50 couples one-stepped six miles to Ocean Park amusem[ent] section where the contest will continue until completed. Only fifty couples out of hundreds applying were accepte[d] for the contest. Rigid physical tests were required of the entrants.
