Sichofsky is mentioned in Los Angeles Times articles on September 11, 12, and 13, 1929: held at Ellis Island, New York, being deported to Poland, claiming to have been cheated of his money by prison officials and others while a prisoner at Folsom Prison, California
6 men, 4 in suits, ties, and hats or caps, walking in a row on sidewalk under awning, 5th man facing them in cap holding newspaper, 6th man in hat at edge of sidewalk with back to camera, photographed at night, with 2 streetlights in background distorted due to camera motion. Sichofsky carries a coat over his arm, possibly a notepad and pen in his hands, and is looking at a slip of paper held by the man to his right.
