Textured black leather bag with handle and clasp at top, flat bottom, on edge of round table with bookcase in background. Bag is wrapped with 2 thin ropes and affixed with address label from Fred W. Wolf to Alfred Allen, and shipping label marked Collect.
Possibly related to Los Angeles Times article, December 28, 1920: Lost Black Bag Has No Sudow Clew. The black leather bag lost by Mrs Fay Sudow near Chicago … was sent to Alfred W.
