"Once in a Blue Moon" motorized float with Moon Princess Ruth Nickson seated on a half moon and a little girl dressed as a fairy seated behind her. The float was entered by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.
The theme of the 1933 forty-fourth annual Rose Parade was "Fairy Tales in Flowers."
