The theme of the 1929 fortieth annual Rose Parade was "Poems in Flowers" Float with two young women seated on either side of a monumental chalice filled with flowers. The floral sign on the side reads: "Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce." The float is shown at the intersection of Colorado Blvd. and Orange Grove Blvd. Text from negative sleeve: Tournament of Roses, 1929. nitrates.
