"My Castle of Dreams" float, one of the largest floats in the parade, has a castle on a hill which emitted balloons, representing day dreams. The float was entered by the Pasadena City Park Department and is shown at the intersection of Colorado Blvd. and Orange Grove Blvd.
The theme of the 1929 fortieth annual Rose Parade was "Poems in Flowers"
