The theme of the 1929 fortieth annual Rose Parade was "Poems in Flowers"
The "Snowbound" float features a snowbound cabin on a mountain peak. Five outwalkers accompany the float, which was entered by the city of Whittier. The float is shown at the intersection of Colorado Blvd. and Orange Grove Blvd.
