The theme of the 1930 forty-first annual Rose Parade was "Festival Days in Flowers" Float representing a cake with nine candles occupied by girls wearing flame caps. The candle girls are Marine Eubanks, Willa Mae Roberts, Evelyn Mowray, Vera Wickers, Sheda McBreton, Muriel Larsen, Emma Griffith, Iris March and Maxine Barrett. The float was entered by the city of Monrovia. The float is seen at the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Orange Grove Blvd. [ Text from negative sleeve: Tournament of Roses, 1930. nitrates.
