The theme of the 1930 forty-first annual Rose Parade was "Festival Days in Flowers"
View facing east towards a departing marching band and spectators along the Rose Parade route on West Colorado Blvd. probably between St. John Avenue and Pasadena Avenue (which became a freeway underpass). Across the street on the right is the Hupp automobile dealership with a arch-shaped doorway, the Knight Motor Co. beyond (with a sign on the side of the building reading "Biedebach. Knight Motor Co. Willys-Knight. Whippet") and the and farther down is the tall Orth Storage building.
