Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. The theme of the 1934 Rose Parade was: Tales of the Seven Seas. It rained during the parade that year Two young men in military uniforms holding the banner announcing the Rose Parade: "45th Annual Tournament of Roses." They are standing in the rain along the side of a residential street, possibly Orange Grove Blvd., before the start of the parade.
