Photograph appears with the article, "Thomas Enters Plea of Guilty," Los Angeles Times, 03 Nov 1932: A5.
Thomas is pleading guilty to two accounts of forgery. Three weeks ago Thomas disappeared from his home in Redondo Beach after he wrecked his office in an attempt to convince police that he had been kidnapped by burglars. He was traced to Seattle, found under the false name E.T. Sherwood, and was attempting to marry another woman. He returned to Los Angeles after being found.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas sit beside each other in separate chairs. Olive has her folded hands in her lap while Mr. Thomas rests one arm on the arm of the chair.
