Thomas has been sentenced to serve one to fourteen years at San Quentin Penitentiary for the forgery of pay vouchers drawn against the County Treasury. He has misappropriated approximately $10,000. Two forged checks are displayed from the Elliot Thomas case. Text from the checks: "Redondo Beach City--The Treasurer of the County of Los Angeles will pay one hundred ten and 50/100 to the order of Roy Nadine for 17 days' service as carpenter...."
