Katherine's feet are slightly blurry as her legs are bent on opposite sides of the bar as she is shown mid-jump.
*No stamped date is given, date from the newspaper article is used.
Katherine lost the wager of a box of chocolate-coated marshmallows by not equaling her own world record in the jump.

Text from newspaper caption: Violet Ball Wins Hurdle Race (below) and Katherine Burroughs, High Jumper. Miss Ball, who is shown on the left, negotiated the 60 yards over timber obstructions in 9^238 Zoe Emerson, at Miss Ball's left, was second, and Fanny Burt, on the right, was third. Miss Burroughs set a mark of 4ft. 7in. in the high jump, which is somewhat below her own record.
