Three suspects in the robbery and murder of Amanda E. Watson are questioned by police. Ultimately only Leslie Fesperman was convicted of the crime.

Text from newspaper caption: The brutal slaying of Mrs. Amanda E. Watson is believed solved with the arrest of Leslie Fesperman. In this picture, left to right, Detective Lieutenants Jones and Hurst (standing) and Capt. Wallis (seated) are questioning Claude Lane, Fesperman and George Mathias, also a suspect. Lane is being held as a material witness.
