David A. Weir, assistant executive manager of the National Association of Credit Men, spoke at the Biltmore Hotel to members of the local chapter. He said that the economy was starting to improve and encouraged members to extend credit to people based on their character, not just their financial circumstances during recent years when the country was in the Great Depression.
