Extortionist Ernest T. Von Buelow handcuffed after being convicted of attempting to extort money from wealthy polo player Eric Pedley.

Von Buelow was convicted of sending several extortion letters to Eric Pedley threatening to throw acid on the face one of Pedley's children if he wasn't given $500.
