Different photographs of the same flood appear in the photo spread titled, "Little Santa Anita Canyon Flood Victim; Traffic Bridges Out," Los Angeles Times, 09 Apr. 1926: A12 Near the lower right corner, several people stand clustered together. To the left of them, a rock-lined dirt road inclines past the lower left corner. Another group of people stand at left, but to the right of the road. Beyond the on-lookers and stretching into the distance is a debris-covered landscape. Rocks, branches and boulders cover the ground. In the near distance at center, a man combs through dammed-up debris. Two other men at left walk through the debris. At far right, water rushes over a short waterfall. In the distance at left, a building stands, appearing to have suffered some damage from the flood. Different photographs of the same flood appear with the article, "THREE DIE IN SEA LASHED BY RETREATING STORM: Santa Monica Rescue Efforts Fail; Deluge Sweeps Canyon Colony; More Bridges Washed Out," Los Angeles Times, 09 Apr. 1926: A1 Text from negative sleeve: RLOODS [sic], SANTA ANITA [handwritten:] ?
