A very similar photograph of the dedication of Arnold Foerster's Beethoven sculpture appears with the article, "Orchestra's Testimonial for Founder Dedicated: HIGH TRIBUTES PAID CLARK Beethoven Statue Unveiling Marked by Plaudits for Sponsor of Philharmonic Orchestra," Los Angeles Times, 15 Oct. 1932: A2 Arnold Foerster stands to the right side of his sculpture of Beethoven in the near distance. He stands on the highest step of a 2-stepped platform that supports the statue. He faces towards the bronze sculpture and looks up at it. The figure of Beethoven stands, off-center to the left, and faces camera. In front of its plinth, a large bouquet of flowers sits on the ground. The bronze figure of Beethoven is captured leaning forward as he strides towards camera. He dons a long coat and stands with hands clasped behind his back as he tilts his gaze down. Across the background, an orchestra sits atop a low platform. A very similar photograph appears with the caption, "Principals in Ceremonies in Pershing Square Yesterday Arnold Foerster, sculptor, places wreath at foot of Beethoven statue, dedicated yesterday at Pershing Square as testimonial of appreciation by Philharmonic Orchestra members for William A. Clark, Jr. Right--Mrs. Leafle Sloan-Orcutt, who unveiled the statue, and William A.
