Related to Los Angeles Times article, "Food Show Opens Today: Rare South Sea Island Birds Among Features; California Fish, Frozen in Ice, to be Displayed," 13 Nov. 1933: A1. Two women stand in the Sperry Flour Company display at the Food and Household Show, sponsored by the Southern California Retail Grocers Association. The exhibit is shaped like a house and the women stand in a model kitchen. The signs on it read, "Sperry Products in every home." A bag of Gold Medal flour sits on the ledge of the exhibit and a sign posted advertises a contest with $5,000 in cash prizes. What appears to be a cake and pie slices sit on the ledge of the exhibit.
