Related to Los Angeles Times article, "Food Show Opens Today: Rare South Sea Island Birds Among Features; California Fish, Frozen in Ice, to be Displayed," 13 Nov. 1933: A1. The Formay exhibit at the Food and Household Show, sponsored by the Southern California Retail Grocers Association. A fence surrounds the exhibit, and a sign at the top reads, "The Home of Formay." There are cans of Formay lined on the shelves (Formay was a brand of shortening), along with other products. There is a model of a factory on the top shelf, and there are photographs of a group of people hung around the exhibit. A Formay ad hanging on the side of the exhibit features radio personality Al Pearce and reads, "Good afternoon, ladies I'm back with the gang." A sign above the neighboring exhibit reads, "50 The Goodwin Co. Inc. L.A. Calif. Goodwins Quality Products."
