The camera captures a play, close-up, during the Loyola and San Francisco football game at Wrigley Field in 1932. At center, players from both teams get caught in a scrum close to the sideline. Along the right side of the cluster, a Loyola player carries the football as he tries to push through the melee. Behind the immediate play, a few San Francisco defenders run towards camera from the left. A Loyola player runs away from the play at right. At left, Wrigley Field's home plate sits on the near side of the sideline. The low stadium wall stretches across the background.
