Another photograph of a play in the same football game appears with the article, "TROJANS DOWN UTAH IN GRID OPENER, 35 TO 0: Battling Utes Hold Foes to Lone Touchdown in First Half but Fall as Game Progresses," Los Angeles Times, 25 Sep. 1932: E1 At center, a USC player (left) and a Utah player (right) jump into the air as the latter reaches his arms out in anticipation of receiving a pass during the 1932 USC and Utah football game at the Coliseum. The Utah player is captured in mid-air, facing left, as he looks for a pass. The USC player is also captured in mid-air. He faces the camera as he lunges towards Utah's receiver from the left. In the distance at left, a couple Trojan players face towards the dueling players. Referee Herb Dana runs towards both the play and the camera from the right. In the background, the Coliseum's filled stands stretch across the image. Text from negative sleeve: Football, U.S.C, VS. Utah, 1932
