Gillette stands outside holding a model globe pointing to a location with his index finger.
A former teacher at Columbia University, Gillette is also a recognized figure in the engineering field and has been employed by the American Telephone and Telegraph Company. His hopes that his electron-magnetic theory will develop accurate weather forecasting and earthquakes.
