S.S. Hahn and John A. Holland were defense attorneys in the Los Angeles area, defending Mary Pickford's accused kidnappers. Frederick H. Vercoe and William T. Aggeler were the public defenders on the case working in tandem with Hahn and Holland.
The photograph relates to the court case for the attempted kidnapping and ransom of Mary Pickford. S.S. Hahn was the defense attorney for Pickford's accused kidnappers.
