Prince Lei Lani was a native Hawaiian singer, dancer and actor. Privately known as Edwin Marcus Rose or Edwin K. Rose, he and his wife were entertainers and dancers until their eventual divorce in 1935. The divorce and ensuing scandal were publicized.
