Smead Jolley at bat. He is wearing a Hollywood Stars uniform, with a letter "H" on the shoulder.
Smead Jolley played professional baseball from 1930 to 1933 for the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago White Sox. He also played in the Minor League: San Francisco Seals (1925-29), Hollywood Stars (1934-35; 1938), and the Oakland Oaks (1938-39).
