Mrs. Minnie Kennedy, mother of evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson, sitting at a desk, likely while awaiting news of her daughter's apparent drowning at Venice Beach. Mrs Blanche Rice (middle) worked at the Angelus Temple where both McPherson women preached. The man, [N L Gray?] could not be positively identified.
