Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Mrs. Minnie Kennedy, mother of evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson, in court with her attorney W. I. Gilbert. Mrs. Minnie Kennedy was involved in a long court case in 1926 concerning the kidnapping and return of her daughter, Aimee Semple McPherson. McPherson was believed by some to have faked the entire ordeal. W. I. Gilbert was their defense attorney for the trial. Handwritten on negative: Mother Kennedy, W. I.
