Mooney (left), the National Commander of the Disabled Veterans of America, and Representative Charles Kramer holding a document and looking at it. They are at an office desk covered with other documents, glasses, and a glasses case. This photograph was probably taken when Kramer, chairman of the subcommittee investigating un-American activities, held executive sessions to interrogate local Los Angeles groups including Nazis, Communists, and Fascists in Room 306 of the Federal Building on August 1, 1934. Mooney assisted him.
