Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Ivan Lebedeff holds an object from the Hammer collection while he and Mrs. Boleslavsky examines it. Ivan Lebedeff and Norma Boleslavsky hold a champagne cooler that was exhibited along with other Russian decorative arts objects on exhibit at Bollocks Wilshire. The pieces were from the collection of Dr. Armand Hammer. The collection included jewelry, tapestries, tableware, toiletries, and many other objects worth around $500,000. Text from newspaper caption: Relic of Other Days Mrs. Norma Boleslavsky, writer and wife of the author of ''The Way of the Lancer," a story of Russia, and Ivan Lebedeff, film actor, who once served as a captain in a regiment of Russian dragoons, are shown here examining a champagne cooler which once was the property of Czar Nicholas II, one of the 3000 articles in the former possession of the Romanoffs being exhibited at Bullock's Wilshire.
