Related to Los Angeles Times article, “County Fair Gates Open on Great Wonderland: Old Mother Goose and Blue Eagle Predominate in Exhibit Array; Pari-Mutuel Betting Begins," 16 Sept. 1933: A1. Midway at the Los Angeles County Fair. A crowd walks through. Flags hang overhead. At the left there is a barker in front of the circus side show. Signs behind him read, "Fay Asia, she sees tomorrow, mentalist supreme" and "Circus side show, human oddities... from all parts of the world, main show." The side of the ticket booth reads, "Ten big shows for the price of one." There are men looking into the back of a truck at the right of the photograph.
