A steer stands at center in his pen at the Los Angeles County Fair. The animal is viewed close-up and straight-on; it looks to the camera. A clasp is attached to a ring in the steer's nostrils. On its forehead, a triangular patch of white sits. Two small horns extend outward from the top of the steer's head. Behind him, the pen extends across the background. A large tent stands in partial view in the distance at right.
