Two young women and cow stand at center and pose for camera. The cow stands between the 2 girls and looks to the camera. At left, one girl smiles to camera as she stands beside and leans over the cow. The girl at right stands slightly behind the cow and also leans onto the animal. She rests a hand to the nape of its neck and holds its bridle with the other hand. Behind them, the pen stretches across the background. In the distance at left, a cylindrical tank sits atop a wagon bed.
