Possibly related to the article, "New General Hospital Dedicated to Humanity: Thousands Present as Officials and Civic Leaders Speak at Rites in Mammoth Institution," Los Angeles Times, 16 Apr. 1934: A1. An elevated view looking across the auditorium and towards the dedication ceremony for Los Angeles County General Hospital. A hundred or so people sit in the audience along the bottom portion of the image. Left-of-center, an aisle cuts through the audience. The audience members all face away from the camera and face towards the stage at the front of the auditorium. The stage is situated off-center to the right. A man stands at a podium at the center of the stage and addresses the audience. Other participants sit on stage behind him. A variety of trees line the back of the stage.
