Related to the article, "PARADE OPENS NEW ROUTE TO SEA: Vermont and Cabrillo Beach Projects Dedicated," Los Angeles Times, 06 Aug. 1932: A2 An overhead view looks north up Vermont Avenue towards where Vermont and Normandie Avenues converge. In the foreground, a car sits in partial view in the lower right corner, facing camera. Behind it, a few cars are parked in a line. Along the right side of the road, cars are parked side-by-side. Most face left, towards Vermont Avenue, and are decorated with American and Olympic flags. Cars also line up at left and face towards camera. The cars clump closer together as the road stretches back towards center. The roads appear to converge in the near distance at center where the cars are parked in a cluster. Normandie Avenue stretches into the distance at left and Vermont Avenue continues to veer back to the right. Behind the cars and between the roads, a large pit sits. People mill about between the stopped vehicles. Text from negative sleeve: LOS ANGELES STREETS, VERMONT & NORMANDIE DEDICATION
