West Manchester Avenue stretches across the foreground on an upward angle from right to left. The new Manchester Theater stands on the opposite side of the street and is viewed at an angle, facing left. Its facade enters frame from the right and extends left. Small balconies jut forward from some of the second-floor windows. Decorative reliefs are carved above some of the windows. The building's facade is capped by a low-pitched clay tile roof. Left-of-center, the main entrance's marquee hovers over the sidewalk. Across the front of the marquee, it reads, "GRAND OPENING WED. JAN.20-MOVIE STARS - REGULAR PRICES STAGE PRESENTATION - MANCHESTER SYNCOPATERS [AND?] FEATURES." Along the right side of the marquee, it reads, "OPEN WED. REGULAR PRICES." Behind and to the right of the facade, the theater's auditorium rises. A sign sits atop it near the upper right corner, it reads, "MA[...] THEATR[E]." A car is parked in front of the theater and 2 men stand in front of the entrance. Show windows along the ground floor appear empty. A neighboring business stands in the background at left.
