Text from newspaper caption: A silent eyewitness to the hit-and-run tragedy that killed Queenie, his toy fox terrier playmate of the last four years, was Peter the Great, Jr., a German police dog. The dog appeared in Municipal Judge MacCoy’s court yesterday while his owner, John Stiglitz of 11000 National Boulevard, testified against M. E. Casebier of 2144 Twenty-first street, Santa Monica. Below, Judge MacCoy is pictured with animal.
