Miss Wilkinson watches her friend Dorothy's face as she puts one arm around her shoulder. Dorothy rests her chin in one gloved hand and looks into the distance.

Miss Mackaye became overwhelmed while listening to Charlotte Ethel Lee's account of the circumstances that lead up to her husband Ray Raymond's death.
