Possibly related to the article, "Throng Welcomes Beloved Religious Leader Back: CROWDS GREET EVANGELIST Angelus Temple Pastor Returns from Three-Months Tour of Europe and Holy Lands," Los Angeles Times, 25 Apr. 1926: 3
This photograph is very similar to another one of crowd captioned "Aimee Semple McPherson Home Again Photograph shows crowd at station to welcome evangelist. Inset--Mrs. McPherson. [P. & A. Photos]," Los Angeles Times, 25 Apr. 1926: 3
The train station's tracks and platform area stretch across the foreground. They are viewed from a slightly elevated perspective. As the platform and tracks stretch back, crowds of people gather and mill about in the mid-ground. A overpass stretches over the tracks and across the image. It is lined by people. A street car travels along it at center. At right, a train enters frame and passes beneath the overpass. The crowd thickens beneath the left side of the overpass. Two men are barely visible standing above and addressing the crowd. Buildings stand in the background at left. Signage on the buildings reads, "NATIONAL ICE & COLD STORAGE CO.," and "101 E. 1st ST. ACME BEDDIN[G] MFRS. & JOBBERS Comforters Blue Bird."
