Herman Cline was arrested for a hit and run while drunk which resulted in the death of a woman and child. Cline was involved in spearheading the case against Aimee Semple McPherson that charged her with faking her own kidnapping previously to this horrific event. Cline tried to outrun police after striking the car, but to no avail and was arrested in Azusa.
