McIntyre was the name Kenneth Ormiston used while staying in a cottage with a mysterious woman who many believed to be Aimee Semple McPherson during her alleged kidnapping. From the letter: "My Very Dear Friends, Mr and Mrs Benedict-; The sudden and serious illness of my wife's mother in New York make it necessary for us to make a flying trip. Needless to say we have enjoyed every moment in your lovely house by the sea and hope to return shortly."
