Related to "Optimism Cheers Annual Realty Board Meeting," Los Angeles Times, 31 Jan 1934: A1. B. O. Miller (left), John E. Coffin (center), and N. J. Cordary stand behind tables and a podium. All three men wear tuxedoes. Cordary is handing Coffin something, but neither men is looking at the other. Cordary is facing the camera. Flowers, water glasses, and a teapot are on the table. Heavy drapes hang behind the men. At the 1934 annual meeting of the Los Angeles Realty Board, N. J. Cordary was the retiring president, B. O. Miller was the incoming president, Mason Case was the incoming secretary-treasurer, John E. Coffin received a service award, and Chester Rowell, journalist and associate editor of the San Francisco Chronicle, was the guest speaker. The meeting was held at the Biltmore Hotel.
