Buck Newsom, also known as "Bobo" Newsom and Louis Norman Newsom, was a starting pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels, a Pacific Coast League team, during the years 1929-1934. In 1934 he began his career as a Major League Baseball pitcher and left the Angels.
