A CLOUD OF MORE THAN 300 PLANES, SWEEPING OVER LOS ANGELES AND THE SURROUNDING TERRITOR[Y] LIKE A MIGRATING FLIGHT OF FABULOUS WINGED CREATURES TOLD THE WORLD THAT THE NATIONAL TRANS-CONTINENTAL AIR RACES, FROM NEW YORK TO LOS ANGELES WERE OFFICIALLY OPENED AT THE NATIONAL AERONAUTICAL EXPOSITION.
