Major C.C. Moseley, commander of the National Guard Aero Squad, standing outside, holding a trophy engraved with the text "Los Angeles Times perpetual trophy for efficiency in flying" and "sempre diretto." Behind him is an airplane. This photograph was taken when the trophy was delivered to Moseley at the Griffith Park Municipal Airport on July 7, 1925.
