William Stanley was the assistant to Attorney General Homer Stille Cummings.
J. F. T. O'Connor was a Los Angeles attorney and campaign manager for Franklin Delano Roosevelt in Southern California. He also later became the Comptroller of the Currency.
Left to right: J. F. T. O'Connor, William Stanley, and Peirson Hall. All three were Democratic lawyers. O'Connor and Hall were local to Los Angeles. The three men stand in an office or study. O'Connor stands with his hands behind his back. Hall holds a cigarette in his left hand. A hat sits on the desk behind Hall. The three men each wear a three piece suit.
Peirson M. Hall was a Los Angeles lawyer, and made later United States Attorney for the Southern California district by President F. D. Roosevelt in 1933. He was also active in the local Democratic party.
Peirson Hall also appears spelled as Pearson Hall and Pierson Hall in the LA Times.
