William Stanley was the assistant to Attorney General Homer Stille Cummings. J. F. T. O'Connor was a Los Angeles attorney and campaign manager for Franklin Delano Roosevelt in Southern California. He also later became the Comptroller of the Currency. Left to right: J. F. T. O'Connor, William Stanley, and Peirson Hall. All three were Democratic lawyers.
