General Patrick J. H. Farrell posing in uniform with military baton. The initials "U.S." appear on his collar. One of the things Farrell was known for was starting the first boy scouts organization in the United States.
Patricinne "Patrick" Joseph Hoshie Farrell fought as a British cavalry officer in the Egyptian, Sudan and Afendi wars, 1882-1886, and came to the United States int he early 1890s.
