Text from negative sleeve: Orange Show 1926 Text from newspaper caption: Sixth Annual Valencia Orange Show Opens Gates at Anaheim: The sixth annual Valencia Orange Show, exploiting the products of the orchards of the youngest of the great citrus districts of the world, opened yesterday at Anaheim. The two great tents which house the show this year present the appearance of Greek temples, inside and out, the decorative motif being almost exclusively Grecian, carried out through the use of props and tons and tons of golden oranges. Tent poles have been transformed into Hellenic columns; gorgeous draperies depend [sic] from the ceilings, and the stage is a Greek temple, while the keynote of the entire show is the story of the Siege of Troy. A huge wooden horse carries out the idea.
