Portrait photograph of Wiliam E. Paine (Bill Paine) wearing a three piece suit and a textured tie. He is photographed from the chest up, leaning forward. A handkerchief is in his breast pocket, and he wears a lapel pin studded with diamonds of a crescent moon interlaced with a scimitar. The pin is a symbol of the Shriners.
Bill Paine was a manager and owner of several restaurants in Southern California. He also appeared in newspaper ads for mineral water to prevent indigestion.
